When my mother was unable to travel and needed a document notarized, I experienced firsthand the difference a dependable mobile notary could make. That experience inspired me to create a service focused on making notarization more convenient, professional, and accessible.
Today, I bring professional notary service directly to homes, businesses, hospitals, assisted-living communities, and other convenient locations throughout the community.

Understanding Your Michigan Notarization
A Michigan notary helps protect the integrity of the signing by:
Verifying the signer’s identity
Confirming that the signer appears aware of what they are signing
Confirming that the signer is signing willingly and without coercion
Completing the appropriate notarial certificate
Which Notarial Act Do You Need?
If your document does not include notarial wording, you must tell the notary which type of notarization is required. A notary may explain the differences but cannot select the notarial act or provide legal advice.
Acknowledgment
You confirm that you signed the document willingly for its stated purpose. The document may generally be signed before the appointment.
Jurat
You swear or affirm that the statements in the document are truthful. You must sign the document in the notary’s presence.
Witnessing or Attesting a Signature
The notary watches you sign the document and verifies that the signature is yours.
If you are unsure which type is required, contact the person or organization receiving the document before your appointment.
Michigan Notary Fees
Michigan law permits a notary to charge up to $10 for each notarial act. Because Bright Path Notary Services travels to you, a separate mobile travel fee starting at $30 may apply based on the location. All notarial and travel fees will be disclosed and agreed upon before the appointment.
